For the Pastry:
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
For the Cream Filling:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Topping:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar optional, for sweetening strawberries
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Prepare the Puff Pastry:
