- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
For the Caramel Layer:
- 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup or light corn syrup
For the Chocolate Topping:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Prepare the Base:
Grease and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, sugar, and corn syrup. Stir until the mixture begins to bubble.
Remove from heat and mix in the Rice Krispies until fully coated.
Press the mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the surface.
Make the Caramel Layer:
In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, butter, brown sugar, and golden syrup.

Add the Chocolate Topping:
Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream together in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer and smooth it out with a spatula.
