Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  •  

For the Noodles:

  •  
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Season chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepperSear chicken:

  • Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat
  • Cook chicken 5-6 minutes per side until golden
  • Remove to plate and set aside

Make sauce:

  • In same pan, melt butter
  • Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
  • Pour in chicken broth and cream
  • Add thyme and stir

Cook noodles:

  • Add egg noodles to pan
  • Return chicken to pan
  • Cover and simmer 10-12 minutes until noodles are tender

Finish:

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese
  • Adjust seasoning
  • Garnish with fresh parsley
