Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh crab meat lump or backfin, shell-free
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar and mozzarella blend
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp green onions finely chopped (for garnish)
  • A few dashes of hot sauce optional, for heat

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven
  • Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare Creamy Base
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
  • Add Seasonings and Cheese
  • Stir in garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, hot sauce (if desired), and shredded cheese.
  • Fold in Crab Meat
  • Gently fold in the crab meat to keep the chunks intact.
  • Transfer to Baking Dish
  • Spread the mixture evenly in an oven-safe dish or skillet.
  • Bake to Perfection
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling.
  • Garnish and Serve
  • Sprinkle green onions on top and serve warm with crackers, bread, or veggies.
