Ingredients
  

Cream Layer

  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin 3 oz each
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Jello Layer

  • 1 packet flavored Jello 3 oz, any flavor
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions
 

  • Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water in a large bowl. Let bloom for 5 minutes.
  • Add boiling water and sugar, stirring until completely dissolved.
  • Whisk in heavy cream and vanilla extract. Set aside to cool slightly.
  • Dissolve flavored Jello in boiling water, stirring for 2 minutes. Add cold water and mix. Cool to room temperature.
  • Line a 9x13 inch pan with plastic wrap. Pour cream mixture in and refrigerate for 20 minutes until tacky.
  • Gently pour flavored Jello mixture over cream layer. Chill for 4-6 hours or overnight.
  • Remove from pan using plastic wrap. Place on a surface and roll into a log from short end. Wrap and chill for 1 hour.
  • Slice into 1/2-inch thick pinwheels using a sharp knife. Clean blade between cuts for neat presentation.

Notes

For best results, ensure both layers are cool but not set before combining. Customize with multiple Jello flavors, or use dairy-free alternatives for cream. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Avoid freezing.
