Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 2 large chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 slices bacon diced
  • 1 1 oz packet ranch seasoning
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper
  • In a large pot, cook diced bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside
  • Cook chicken in bacon fat until golden brown (about 6-8 minutes)
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant
  • Pour in chicken broth, cream, and ranch seasoning. Stir well
  • Add pasta and bring to a simmer. Cook 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens
  • Return bacon to pot
