Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

- 1 pound penne pasta
- 2 large chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 slices bacon diced
- 1 1 oz packet ranch seasoning
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper
In a large pot, cook diced bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside
Cook chicken in bacon fat until golden brown (about 6-8 minutes)
Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant
Pour in chicken broth, cream, and ranch seasoning. Stir well
Add pasta and bring to a simmer. Cook 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens
Return bacon to pot
Garnish with fresh parsley
