- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup cottage cheese full-fat recommended
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter for greasing
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Grease 8x8 inch baking dish with butter
Whisk eggs in a large bowl until well beaten
Stir in cottage cheese, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder
Mix in half of the chopped chives
Pour into prepared baking dish
Bake 25-30 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in center
Rest 5 minutes before serving
Garnish with remaining chives
Drain cottage cheese before using to prevent excess liquid
Can be prepared night before and baked in morning
Best served fresh but keeps for up to 3 days refrigerated
