- Brown Sugar: 1 cup (200g), packed
- Granulated Sugar: ½ cup (100g)
- Eggs: 2 large
- Vanilla Extract: 2 tsp
- All-Purpose Flour: 2 cups (250g)
- Baking Powder: 1 tsp
- Salt: ½ tsp
Add-Ins & Toppings
- Dairy Milk Chocolate Chunks: 1 cup (roughly chopped or use chocolate chips)
- Caramel Chips: ½ cup (optional, for extra caramel flavor)
- Caramel Sauce: ½ cup (for swirling)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Pan and Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and line a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
Step 2: Mix the Wet Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 3: Combine the Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Step 4: Add the Mix-ins
- Gently fold in the Dairy Milk chocolate chunks and caramel chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
Step 5: Layer and Swirl
- Spread half of the blondie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter and gently swirl with a knife or skewer.
- Add the remaining blondie batter on top, spreading it evenly. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce and swirl again.
Step 6: Bake
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set and golden, and the center is still slightly soft.
- A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with a few moist crumbs for a fudgy texture.
Step 7: Cool and Slice
- Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan.
- Once cooled, use the parchment overhang to lift them out. Slice into squares and enjoy!
